This assignment had our class design informational and promotional materials for a mock conference based on various topics assigned to us by the instructor. The topic assigned to me was "Man and Machine: The Future of Robotics." With this technological inspiration in mind, my design atte-mpted to create a cohesive design with all necessary information organized in a pleasing manner, while including illustrated and other elements relating to the conference's theme of robotics and machinery. The main illustration on this poster is a woman integrated with machinery, in order to convey the title of the event in a striking way. Human elements are blended with circuitry, and similar circuit like elements are utilized throughout the piece in order to create a consistent and relevant visual language. This poster pairs with a 24-page booklet which further details various aspects of the conference.
